Shower, Loos, Wash Up, Laundry and Drying Room Facilities: Enjoy refreshing hot showers in clean, spacious rooms, using water from our own source. Our purpose-built facilities include plenty of showers, toilets, family wet rooms, and an easy-access room with a shower and toilet with plenty of pegs and hooks.

The Long Lake: Enjoy our stunning lake right by the campsite. Swim, paddleboard, leap in, or simply gaze at its beauty. It’s also a habitat for frogs, critters migratory birds, and water voles, heron and more, living alongside with our visitors. While we no longer offer kayaks for borrowing, feel free to bring your own watercraft.

Fishing Lake: We offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy some much-needed peace and quiet by our beautiful fishing lake. While we do share this space with otters, who are expert fishermen themselves, our fishing lake is stocked with a variety of fish including crucian carp, tench, and roach. As a guest at Fforest Fields, you have the privilege of accessing our fishing lake free of charge.

Tracks & Trails: When you ask us where you can walk, we respond with a sweeping gesture and say, “Anywhere.” Explore our 500-acre farm with walking trails in all directions. Maps are available in the reception.

 

Coffee Shop & Bar: Our seasonal coffee shop and bar are stocked with locally made cakes, brownies, and other treats, along with soft drinks, local ciders, and beers. Join us for regular pizza nights through the season.

Shop: Our well-stocked shop operates on an honesty system when we’re not available to assist you. Find local meats, dairy, eggs, bread, and essential pantry items, including jams, pickles, pastas, and the all-important marshmallows & Fredos!

The Look Out: The Lookout, accessible via ‘Flo’s Ride,’ offers breathtaking views of the Radnorshire hills and campsite sunsets. It’s a perfect spot for a walk or ride at any time of day.

A Quiet Place: Escape to the Meditation Hut, reached via a secret path and rope bridge. Take a few precious minutes to unwind and find peace.

Outdoor Play: Embrace the natural world for all ages. Kids enjoy biking, tree climbing, lake plunges, pond dipping, and forest adventures. Grown-ups also find endless activities, rain or shine.

Dark Sky Stargazing: Experience our expansive skies. On clear nights, stargazing with the naked eye is a treat. For astro-photography enthusiasts, we offer some of the darkest skies in the country, located near the Elan Valley.

Firepits & Wood: Rent firepits for £5 per night, capped at £15 for stays longer than three nights. We have a ready supply of firewood and kindling to keep your evenings cozy.
